Have you noticed the groovy features of S6 Edge, a curved screen smartphone. The curved side display can be used to alert you to different notifications and gives quick links to contact and other parts of TouchWiz OS. You can get this feature on your standard flat Android phone.

For this you need app Edge Color Notification, and just like S6 Edge it displays colour notification bar on the side of the screen when your contacts are calling, the software lets you change the colour and size of the side bars and assign different colours to different contacts.
The app is still a work in progress and while it does include S6 Edge feature, you can access five contacts from the side of the screen - it is only at the beta stage version, so you might come across few bugs.
